How far is Disney World and Universal Resort?

The Orlando Theme Parks and Attractions are only ever a short drive away no matter where you are staying in the Orlando area. Walt Disney World Resort is located in the Lake Buena Vista area which puts it in close proximity to West Kissimmee and the south International Drive area. Universal Resort Orlando is located at the northern end of International Drive and is easiest accessed off Interstate 4 heading north. What can eat into your valuable visiting time is parking and then the walking distance until entering the Park Gates. Distance from Orlando International Airport

The Directions webpage will provide you with the estimated distance and drive time from Orlando International Airport together with a link to view exactly where the location is in Google Maps. Greater Orlando has an excellent road network system which is wide and well maintained – and mostly jam free – that makes for getting around the entire area a stress-free experience. Hiring a vehicle from the Airport on arrival will make transitioning to and from your location, and then getting around the area, a breeze. Getting to and from the Theme Parks will also be much easier and less time-consuming. You should be aware that some of the Highways are Toll Roads and will require payment either in cash, via the SunPass or incorporation via Plate recognition into the vehicle rental agreement.
